Terms of Use

Article 1 - Contract This seasonal rental contract is reserved for the exclusive use of rental and accommodation in the apartment at Tau 2 * 1 Place des Impériaux 13460 Saintes-Maries-de-la-mer. Under no circumstances would we be held liable for the use of its contracts by third parties or for purposes other than tourism.

Article 2 - Duration of stay: The tenant signing this contract concluded for a fixed period may not under any circumstances invoke any right to remain in the premises at the end of the stay.

Article 3 - Conclusion of the contract: The reservation becomes effective once the tenant has sent the owner the total amount of the rental and a copy of the signed rental contract. The rental concluded between the parties to this deed may in no case benefit even partially to third parties, natural or legal persons, except with the written consent of the owner. Any infringement of this last paragraph would be likely to result in the immediate termination of the rental at the fault of the tenant, the rental income remaining definitively acquired by the owner.

Article 4 - Preparation of the file. The name, first name and age of each tenant will be requested before arrival by our services, including those of your children. This is a check-in, even for tenants from rental platforms Booking.com, Airbnb, Abritel etc ... The ages of children are calculated from their birthday on the start date of the stay. An official document justifying the age of the children may be requested at the start of the stay. Article 5 - Prices The prices shown on our presentation sheets for our apartment are inclusive of all taxes, excluding tourist taxes (and except excessive consumption). We are a Micro Company, therefore VAT is not applied.

Article 6 - Taxes and contributions The tourist tax 0.83 € is calculated on the basis of your declarations. The price and collection of this tax is made by the Town Hall of Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer and according to the classification of the apartment which is today at its two stars.

Article 7- Capacity: The number of people indicated per accommodation in our prices and brochures corresponds to the maximum authorized occupancy taking into account the available equipment. It cannot be exceeded for safety and insurance reasons. The management reserves the right to deny you access to the accommodation if the number of people exceeds the maximum authorized occupancy.

Article 8 Event (birthday or other private events) No party or other event will be tolerated in the apartment you rent. You are in a residence. Everything is known, everything is seen in a village.

Article 9 Modification of stay: Any modification of stay requested in terms of dates, location, duration, number of people or family composition must be validated by our services. It may, if necessary, be the subject of additional invoicing. In the event of external events beyond our control, we may have to modify or cancel your stay. We will then offer you and depending on availability, an equivalent stay with different dates or accommodation. If you are not satisfied with this offer, the full amount paid will be refunded. No other compensation can be claimed.

Article 10 - No withdrawal: For reservations made by mail, telephone or internet, the tenant does not benefit from the withdrawal period, in accordance with Article L121-21-8 of the Consumer Code relating in particular to hosting services provided on a date or at a specified periodicity.

Article 11 - Cancellation by the tenant: Any cancellation must be notified by registered letter to the owner. cancellation before arrival at the scene: any deposit and administrative fees remain with the owner for any stay canceled more than 30 days before arrival. For any stay canceled in the 30 days preceding the date of arrival, interrupted or not consumed for any reason whatsoever, the entire amount of the reserved stay will be owed or will remain acquired to the owners of the Tau 2 * No refund is provided in case of interruption of stay. In addition, if the stay is shortened, the rental price remains with the owner. If the tenant does not appear within 24 hours of the arrival date indicated on the contract, this contract becomes void and the owner can dispose of his apartment. The deposit also remains with the owner who will request payment of the rental balance.

Article 12 - Cancellation by the owner: The owner pays the tenant all of the sums paid, as well as compensation at least equal to that which the tenant would have borne if the cancellation had been made by him on that date.

Article 13 - Arrival: The tenant must arrive on the specified day and time mentioned on this contract. In the event of a late or delayed arrival, the tenant must notify our contact person.

Article 14 - Payment of the balance: The balance of the rental is paid before entering the premises, always by credit card. The tenant will be able to obtain the keys

Article 15– Inventory: An inventory is drawn up jointly and signed by the tenant and the owner or his representative on arrival and departure from the apartment. This inventory is the only reference in the event of a dispute concerning the condition of the premises. The cleanliness of the apartment on arrival of the tenant must be noted in the inventory. The cleaning of the premises is the responsibility of the tenant during the rental period and before his departure. If the apartment is left in a dirty condition when the tenant leaves, the owner may request additional costs

Article 16 - Security deposit or surety: For the time being, we do not ask for a security deposit or surety.

Article 17 - Use of the premises: The tenant must ensure the peaceful character of the rental and make use of it in accordance with the destination of the premises. Special attention is requested from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. regarding noise. In case of non-compliance during these hours, we will contact you and if nothing changes the owner can call the police to restore calm. Note that the police may ask you for a fine of € 135 for each person present.

Article 18 Capacity: This contract is established for a maximum capacity indicated on the rental contract. If the number of tenants exceeds the capacity, the owner can refuse the additional people. Any modification or termination of the contract will be considered at the initiative of the customer.

Article 19 - Reception of animals: For hygienic areas and out of respect for people predisposed to allergies, we do not accept animals. In case of non-compliance with this clause, the owner can refuse the stay: no refund will be made.

Article 20 Insurance: The tenant is responsible for all damages arising from his fault. He is required to be insured by a resort-type insurance contract for these various risks.

Article -21 Valuables: it is recommended not to leave valuables in the accommodation.

Article 22 Household Cleaning is your responsibility. Household equipment is provided for this purpose. If you want to avoid the constraints of the last day and leave with peace of mind, a paid cleaning package is available for € 40. Preferably book before your stay. Otherwise, if your accommodation is left in an unsatisfactory state of cleanliness and storage, we reserve the right to charge you a cleaning fee.

Article 24 WIFI: wifi is being deployed, wifi will be free and secure.

Article 25: Smoking - Smoking is prohibited inside the apartment.

Article 26- The desired arrival time is set at 2 p.m. If you cannot meet this schedule, it is essential to notify in advance on +33 6 09 94 03 34 in order to indicate your estimated arrival time. In case of delay, in no case can the stay be extended. Before your departure: a guestbook is at your disposal in the apartment, in order to collect your comments and impressions. The cottages must be vacated by 10am on the day of departure. You are requested to leave the area as clean as possible and to return the entrusted material to the location indicated.
