We have been traveling to the South of France for several years. At first to enjoy the sea and then more and more the desire to settle there. But where? That was the big question. Escape from everyday life, be by the sea and of course pure nature. The Camargue combines all of this, so we came to Les Saintes Maries de la Mer. We signed the purchase agreement on September 27, 2019. Unfortunately, the Covid-19 came at the beginning of 2020. My wife and I were on vacation at the time when the lockdown was first issued in Switzerland and two days later in France. The borders were closed. Our apartment remained uninhabited for too long. Our purchase was intended for family, friends and of course for us. Unfortunately, we had to find another solution. As soon as the borders were open again, on June 15, 2020, we decided to rent our apartment as a holiday home on sites like Booking, AirBnb, and so on. Because the running costs have to be covered. We have found a local manager and a reservation system. It is important for us to strive for improvement, so we have acquired various quality labels such as “Meublé de tourisme - Etoiles de France - Office de tourisme des Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer - Cléavacances”. But who are we in fact? Isabelle and François, born in Switzerland and we live there too. We do our best to make your stay unforgettable, so that you enjoy entirely your holiday. Rules

So that your conditions of stay are the most pleasant, and that the conditions of hygiene and safety are guaranteed for all, we ask you to carefully read these regulations.


Location duration

This accommodation is rented to you for a period defined at the time of your reservation, determined in your rental contract. Under no circumstances will a customer be able to claim any right to remain in the premises outside this period. It is sometimes possible to extend your stay as long as there are no other rentals after. In all cases you must ask us.


Arrival and departure


- Arrival times are scheduled in the afternoon from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. In case of delay, please announce it.

- Departure times are scheduled in the morning before 10 a.m.

- The time spent cleaning must take place on the day of departure, before the deadline. Materials provided

- Sheets and other household linen (bed sets, towels, tea towels ...) are provided on request.

- Please bring garbage bags,


Use of the premises


- All furniture is at your disposal. Please keep them in good condition and keep them clean.

- The supply of water, electricity and heating is included in the rental price. However, in order to be as environmentally friendly as possible, please turn off the lights when you leave a room, do not let the water run unnecessarily, and do not leave windows and doors open for a long time if you are using the heating.

- All amenities are at your disposal, subject to normal and reasonable use. In this regard, please do not throw anything in the toilet bowl except toilet paper. Only use products compatible with a septic tank.

- Each housing access door is equipped with a key lock. Make absolutely sure to close them when leaving the premises. You are responsible for any theft and any damage in the event of non-compliance with this clause. Safety and decency instructions

- Please respect the tranquility of the place and make use of it for its intended purpose. The sound volume, inside and outside the property, must be contained in order to respect the tranquility of the neighborhood. In the event of a conflict and / or complaint, we reserve the right to exclude the customers causing the problem.

- For the respect of the neighborhood, it is strictly forbidden to make noise in the evening after 10 p.m. and before 8 a.m.

- It is strictly forbidden to smoke inside the accommodation.

- In case of emergency, please notify the emergency services (18 for the fire brigade, 15 for the Samu, 17 for the police). Or 112. Fire extinguishers have been placed in the apartment.

- Cleaning must be done during your stay, and before your departure. A more thorough cleaning as well as a disinfection will be carried out afterwards by us.

- Please take care not to leave the accommodation untidy, in particular by arranging furniture, objects and dishes. Household garbage Garbage cans are available to you. Please respect the sorting rules: yellow bin for cardboard, plastic and metal packaging; green trash can for household waste. When you leave, please do not leave anything in the trash and make it clean

- Pets are prohibited - In case of failure or malfunction, please contact us immediately. We will then do our best to remedy the situation. No reimbursement for repairs or repairs can be taken into account without our agreement.

- In the event of breakage, damage or damage, please report it during your stay, even if no damage seems apparent. In the event of loss or degradation of elements of the accommodation.


Deposit request


The owner asks for a deposit on booking of 200 euros or 210 Swiss francs. To do so, he asks the French company SWIKLY www.swikly.com. You must provide a loan from your credit card only. No money will be debited from your card, or even blocked. In the event of observed damage, dirt or theft, the owner will assert his right to compensation up to the amount of the deposit. The company appointed Swikly will contact you to settle the dispute. It will be that at this moment, that your card can be debited. Of course, if no damage, theft or dirt is noticed, the deposit request will stop, and no amount will be debited from your card. It is the easiest and cheapest way for litigation.
